Un Nuevo Dia is the kind of guilty R&B-lite pleasure you just have to allow yourself every now and then. Granted, J leans heavy on the sap, starting with the limp dishrag that is "Quien," but when he picks up the pace on "Amor De Verdad" (check out that Timberlake-esque falsetto!), the mushy "Estar A Tu Lado" and the ubiquitous hit "Obsession (No Es Amor)," it's hard not to be a little charmed. Spain's Sin Bandera lend their similar Latin pop/R&B hybrid star power on "Por Favor."
