by Freddie King
Released: Jan 1971
Label: EMI Music Special Markets
Produced by Leon Russell, King's fantastic playing is backed here by varying degrees of rock and soul, resulting in an Eric Clapton record played by one of the greats of electric blues. For some, this is as good as blues can get. For others, it sounds kind of weird (the first song has a string section). Still, King's precise, stabbing leads are always worth hearing.
