Frederick Knight

Frederick Knight has a voice meant for Soul, and he moves gracefully through these songs with a winged falsetto and tenor flutterings. His ballads are delicate and filled with sappy romanticism -- and that, frankly, is a good thing. Aside from creating super smooth Soul hits of his own, Knight also penned Anita Ward's leisure-suit and lip-gloss theme, "Ring My Bell."
