Formed by Dora the Explorer composer Joshua Sitron, FunkeyMonkeys brings a bit of tongue-in-cheek humor to children's music. (Just listen to the tiny-tot club song "You Are Cute" or the title track if you don't believe us.) Sitron's Brooklyn hipster mentality has also brought interesting collaborators into the fold, including a horn section taken from the Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra. But heartfelt sentiment wins out on songs like "Only One Of You."
