Famously invisible, FSOL have been hiding in their studio ever since "Papua New Guinea" and its million remixes made them global stars. Their unsociability was taken to further extremes with 1995's ISDN, which was mostly recorded via, yes, ISDN transmissions. The sound is still ambient techno, but this time with a more improvisational jazzy feel.
