Biography

G-Dep dropped his debut LP, Child of the Ghetto, in late 2001. He'd already built a strong rep with indie releases (check "Head Over Wheels") and appearances alongside Gang Starr on Moment Of Truth, Black Rob's Life Story, and Puffy's The Saga Continues. Flexing a smooth flow and straightforward rhyme style, he scored hits with "Let's Get It" and "Special Delivery."
