Galactic pay tribute to their hometown by matching each number with the appropriate New Orleans talent, from brass band and jazz musicians to soul singers and rappers. Walter “Wolfman” Washington “Speaks His Mind” on a spacey number and Allen Toussaint struts his sophisticated stuff on “Muss The Hair” and “Bacchus.” The younger generation gets plenty of spots too - check out “Liquor Pang” and “Double It.” Galactic end up providing a celebration of musical community - and just community in general.
