The "Bonus Tracks" version of this greatest hits comp comes with an entire second disc full of remixes by some of the best mix-masters in the biz. Now, we love a good remix, and there are plenty of 'em here (check out Fun Lovin' Criminals' dive-bar-and-beer-tears take on "You Look So Fine"). But what's remarkable is how superfluous that second disc seems -- not because the remix has nothing to say, but because the original still says it so much better. And though it's not comprehensive, what else could a bunch of their hits lined up in a row say about Garbage but "This is a great band"?
