Because Gary Moore loved sonic exploration, he never released a single perfect album. Just about every one is a mishmash of experiments and tangents. Some work, others not so much. Back on the Streets works -- for the most part. After the opening title track, a Phil Lynott-flavored anthem rocker that's just fantastic, Moore tears into nearly every genre under the sun: fusion, boogie, proto-metal, blues, soft rock, etc. Of course, the guitars are awesome, especially on the gorgeous "Parisienne Walkways."
