It Just Comes Natural
George Strait
Released:
Oct 2006
Label:
MCA Nashville
It Just Comes Natural is a strange title for George Strait's 28th album, considering that it was recorded at Jimmy Buffett's Shrimpboat Studio in Key West, where Strait and Buffett tracked "Sea of Heartbreak." We're not saying Strait is wearing puka shells and banging steel drums. This album oozes the kind of warm honky-tonk inspired country that you'd expect Strait to sing, but the album's overall tone has a reflected and romantic feel, though "Texas Cookin'" may be the most up-tempo song here. "She Told Me So" sounds a lot like George Jones' "She Thinks I Still Care."
