"No thanks," said most listeners at the time of its release in 1992. However, this album merits exploration, not only because even at their worst the Mondays were better than most, but also because this is aural evidence of what happens when you combine ridiculous talent with insane quantities of drugs, no schedule, risible management and full-on lost-the-plot Mancunian nihilism. Shaun Ryder went on to form the superb Black Grape, so this album didn't ruin him, but it was the end of the Mondays.
