Every five years Connick cuts a relaxed, off-the-cuff piano/vocal album. He gets high marks for working so casually, but it's obvious he didn't know these songs inside out the way he should've before recording them. Best is the opener, "Stardust," with Ellis Marsalis on piano; a jaunty, Errol Garner-ish instrumental reading of "After You've Gone," and "Tangerine."
