With an old-timey, alt country sound that conjures sepia-toned images of dusty cowboy towns, honeyhoney's sophomore album is a tighter, more focused effort than the duo's debut. Suzanne Santo's smoky voice sounds right at home with the pair's twanging guitars, banjos and fiddles. "I Don't Mind" plods with a fervent stomp as Santo eerily drawls, "I got a grave within my chest/ you fill up, that's where you rest/ my honey-heart don't see your ghost/ but I wish it did, oh I wish for that the most." Other highlights include "Angel of Death," "Old-School Friends" and the sassy "Let's Get Wrecked."
