This Oregon quintet's lush sound, based mostly around an acoustic guitar, delicate strings and Justin Ringle's breathy vocals, is a whisper-quiet storm of emotions that envelop listeners in a warm blanket -- and tuck them in safely for an emotional ride. With its plucky strings and gentle, shuffling drums, "Fit Against the Country" is the most beautiful-sounding working-man's tirade you will ever hear. "Every night we all go to a house we'll never own," Ringle quietly coos, and it feels like he's just hit an emotional bull's eye. Other highlights: "So Long," "Last Waltz" and "Where I'll Be."
