The term "A Bay Bay" references influential DJ Hollyhood Bay Bay from Shreveport, Louisiana, also hometown of Hurricane Chris. It's used as a synonym for "fo' sho" and became the club-hop catchphrase of the summer of '07. The song is the sort of nonsensical and catchy anthem that St. Louis and Atlanta artists have been pumping out for years, and there's a certain universality to it --€“ from the child's vocals in the beginning to the invocation that this is for "white folks and gangstas" -- that is undoubtedly appealing.=
