Released:
Label: VP Records
After years penning hits for various riddim compilations, I-Octane has finally released his debut full-length. With conscious lyrics and a unique singjay style, he's established himself as one of the most respected young Jamaican artists in reggae. Crying to the Nation features a nice batch of brand-new material to complement the previously released hits "Lose a Friend," "Puff It" and "Once More"; of the new tracks, "System A Beat Dem" shines brightest, as well as the hip-hop-inspired "No More Violence" and the Tarrus Riley duet "All We Need Is Love." This is just the beginning.
