Biography
Iannis Xenakis (pronounced zah-nach-us) is among the most important Greek composers of the 20th century, of chief importance to musical modernism and -- perhaps due to his other career as an architect -- a major figure of the so-called "architectonic" school. His most widely performed works are for percussion solo and ensemble, including the immaculately constructed "Rebounds A + B."
