Ini Kamoze hit the reggae scene running with famed producing team Sly and Robbie at his back. Together they brought a new sound that was to influence many, such as Ed Robinson and Anthony Red Rose. His sound has gone through many changes, from '80s Roots to synth produced Dancehall to hip-hop influenced Gangsta reggae. The one constant is Kamoze's smooth Jamaican rhymes.
