There's something almost regal about Isan's Lucky Cat. Jewel tones abound on these intricately sculpted synthesizer miniatures, which for all their warmth also radiate a certain distance: They might as well be displayed behind glass. But that's not off-putting. Instead, the stately tempos and immaculate sense of order invite contemplation and maybe even reverence. This may be pop idealized and abstracted, but it's also plenty endearing.
