Originally released as a European-only LP in 2003, this was excavated by Stones Throw records and polished for its American release. Stylistically, Dilla was still in hard-hitting, techno-colored boom-bap mode. "Reckless Driving" and "Make 'em NV" are jeep music for college graduates, while the merely loony "Wild" reinterprets the Quiet Riot classic "Cum on Feel the Noize." It's a rugged, raw sound capped by Dilla's love for sonic experimentation.
