Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey

This Tulsa, Ok. trio plays idiosyncratic Jam Rock fused with Funk-Jazz. Starting with organ lead melodies, their instrumental antics are festive and at times circus-like a la early Phish. The group also has a more traditional side, bringing in jazz elements that cross 70's Fusion and Bop; Thelonious Monk is clearly an influence. There is no band member actually named Jacob Fred.
