Bring It Back (Single)
by Jae Millz
Released: May 2006
Whirring synths set it off, puncturing torture chamber drums as handclaps punctuate the dark stomp. Harlem emcee Jae Millz steps into the first verse stumbling towards seduction with "a blunt of purp and a big bottle of Patron" and offering (or threatening) to "bring it back in your spine." By the second verse, when Lox lyricist Jadakiss shows up worrying over his scan numbers, unleashing his signature squall and offering "to get that mommy with the bubble," the leadoff single from Millz' debut album is teetering on the verge of meltdown -- bombastic and brilliant.
