With only five albums released during his lifetime, any recordings from this New Orleans piano virtuoso are precious to say the least, and this third album, recorded in Germany on the nights following his Piano Prince of New Orleans sets, is nothing short of a treasure. All his mountains of soul and astonishing talents come out in "Wake Up Mr. Moon Man," to cite just one instance; he also rearranges Dr. John's "Desitively Bonnaroo" and "Right Place, Wrong Time." There is no bad music on here. Do not miss "Baby Won't You Please Come Home."
