This album might have sounded fresh five years ago but in 2006 it just sounds like a poor man's Frankenstein of J.Lo, Mya and Mary J. Blige. Ortega does have some things going for her: she can sing circles around J.Lo, she co-wrote most of the songs and tracks like "Can U?" and "Let It Go" fully succeed at their R&B game. Unfortunately, the only deviation from the formula, "It's R Time," eviscerates the reggaeton it calls on to give it some life.
