After a decade, this Nashville sibling duo finally breaks out with their major label debut. On seventh album Hypnotic Nights, Jake and Jamin Orrall pop like Weezer, seethe like Nirvana and bop like The Ramones, and then wrap it all in sweet bows of fuzzy, psych-tinged riffs; sporadic horns and organ even creep their way into the handclapping garage-punk fun. "Sixpack" is the token "get wasted" rock anthem, but from there the booze-soaked melodies often travel beyond Weezer's garage and into trippier territory, like on the woozy "Region of Fire" and the Floyd-meets-Ozzy ballad "Changes."
