Biography

TV actor, co-star of the Nickelodeon sensation iCarly, and singer Jennette McCurdy is a philanthropic teen celebrity born and raised in Garden Grove, Calif. She first appeared on MadTV when she was eight, followed by appearances on Malcolm in the Middle, CSI, Will & Grace ... the list goes on and on. McCurdy embarked on a singing career in 2008, with the country-rocking gem "So Close" marking her debut. The attendant album never surfaced after McCurdy switched labels. In 2010, the Not That Far Away EP appeared. Still short a debut full-length, McCurdy released the single "Generation Love."
