Crow's Nest by Jim Crow
Released: Sep 1999
Label: EPIC/NOONTIME
Coming out of Atlanta just before the South really blew up, Jim Crow released this solid debut LP back in 1999, then promptly disappeared from the scene. Regardless, Crow's Nest is a quality album, with a funky, smoked-out sound somewhere between Outkast and Cash Money. Organized Noize produced every track, while Too Short and Juvenile also got busy on the mic.
