Jim Sturgess

Heartthrob Brit movie star, thespian and singer Jim Sturgess is a graduate of England's National Youth Music Theatre. In 1994 he got his start in a film adaptation of Terence Rattigan's 1948 play The Browning Vision, and he had regular roles in television, film and radio over the following decade. His largest role came with the 2007 musical film Across the Universe, which weaves a number of Beatles songs into a plot based on the turbulent social climate of the 1960s and includes on-screen cameos from Joe Cocker and U2 singer and activist Bono. Sturgess appears on the soundtrack to the film as well.
