Jimmy Dorsey no longer carries the name recognition his brother Tommy still enjoys, but he led one of the swing era's best bands. This set collects Dorsey's sides for the Decca label (1936–1943) and shows off the man's skills on the clarinet and saxophone as well as his strength as a bandleader. Great fun, this includes Dorsey's big hit "Tangerine."
