The mastermind behind the Sunday club night Body and Soul, Claussell is often grouped with colleagues Kerri Chandler and Jerome Sydenham. As a solo artist, Claussell offers up warm Deep House tracks (mainly sans vocals) that spotlight globally inspired, jazz-inflected melodies as they wave peacefully over a cushion of smooth Afro-centric beats and Brazilian rhythms.
