It's about time this rare gem of an album got reissued. In 1969, acoustic finger-picking demigod John Fahey recorded this LP with members of the psychedelic group Spirit as his backing band. Their chemistry, especially on "The Singing Bridge of Memphis, Tennessee," is reminiscent of Joe Byrd's more experimental avant-folk songs with the United States of America.
