John Forte

A producer and emcee from Brooklyn, Forte began his career behind the boards, composing tracks for the Fugees' hugely successful album The Score. He toured with Wyclef and the Refugee Camp All-Stars, and later released his own debut Poly Sci in 1998. His single "Ninety Nine (Flash The Message)" quickly climbed the charts with its poppy beats, catchy rhymes, and '80s-inspired hook.
