These are demos for the LP Lennon and Yoko Ono were planning to release after Starting Over. "Nobody Told Me" is one of Lennon's all-time best songs. Other tunes, such as "I Don't Wanna Face It" and "I'm Stepping Out," are strong enough to be added to Starting Over. "Borrowed Time" is so open and positive about Lennon's tragically abbreviated time on Earth that it still carries an unplanned sting (his Scouse comedic dialogue at the end included). Lennon obviously had a lot more to offer.
