Biography
McCormack's singular style as a tenor earned him a place in audience's hearts in the early part of the 1900s, singing everything from Mozart's operas and Handel's liturgical music to popular songs of the era. Although he was not exactly one for the high notes, his breathing was perfectly controlled and he possessed a likable, easy charm.
