Yes, this is the same John Waite who sang for Bad English and the Babies -- the same John Waite who had a hit with "Missing You" in 1984. He still sounds like he did back in the day, albeit much more rootsy (he even does a cover of Dylan's "Highway 61 Revisited" that would well accompany a rack of ribs at the House Of Blues). Waite's remake of the aforementioned "Missing You" here is a standout, mainly because Alison Krauss lends her silky voice, turning it into a radio friendly duet. He also revisits the Baby's "Isn't It Time" and Bad English's "When I See You Smile."
