Biography

Early rock singer from Texas capable of unleashing an otherworldly falsetto voice. Preston had a couple of regional Novelty hits in the late 1950s. His recorded legacy has shown him to be a credible balladeer and convincing R&B stylist, rather than a mere one-hit Novelty singer.
