It's easy to denigrate JoJo. She was a child actress on "Kids Say the Darndest Things," she's too cute for her own good and she liberally borrows from other singers. But the girl does have pipes, and The High Road is a fitting follow-up to her widely popular eponymous debut. The crazy-in-love "The Way You Do Me" is so messy that it's exhilarating, while "Anything" samples Toto. Fans of sugary, carefree pop will love this.
