Jump, Little Children

Jump, Little Children

Biography

Graduates from North Carolina School of the Arts took their moniker from the song, "Jump, Little Children" by blues gurus Brownie McGhee and Sonny Terry. They began studying classical and Irish folk tunes, and soon became infatuated with Delta Blues and pop songs. Producer Brad Jones (Imperial Drag, Yo La Tengo) turned the knobs for Jump, Little Children's major label debut, Magazine. Their kinetic, uptempo songs blend classic folk stylings with a relevant sensibility for radio friendly pop.
