Let's be real: Lyrics like "Chillin' by the fire while we eatin' fondue" were made for a close-up, candlelit acoustic version. And "Boyfriend" is everything our cheesy little hearts could've wanted. But JB is serious about acoustic versions: Most here are just him and a solo acoustic guitar. What's more? He kinda kills it. Turns out, slick, desperately dramatic dance-pop like "As Long As You Love Me" and "All Around the World" sound pretty awesome as slick, desperately dramatic coffee-shop crooners. The three new cuts (especially thoughtful "Yellow Raincoat") are also sexy/schmaltzy goodness.
