Ryan Raddon (aka Kaskade) ain't the funkiest dude on the block. But that's fine by him. Strobelite Seduction, like most of his releases, is all about coolly detached females and bubbling synths. It's dreamy, not sweaty. That's why soft trance like "On My Shoulder" and "I Remember" serves as the perfect soundtrack for 2 a.m. drives through sleeping cities. "Borrowed Theme" even borders on Julee Cruise-style catatonia, something Raddon should explore more deeply in the future.
