Kathy Griffin's 2008 live recording is a lot like sitting down with a high school friend who has become a huge celebrity but still comes back to hang out once in awhile. She's got an armful of stories and excellent dirt to dish on her fellow Hollywood denizens. The first few routines here, about her mother, are funny, but it's when Griffin starts saying those things that have gotten her fired from red carpet interviewer jobs and Ellen DeGeneres fill-in host gigs that things get really fun.
