Released: Apr 1988
Label: Warner Bros.
Nashville sound architect Owen Bradley came out of the mothballs to cut this Top 10 country hit. Old-fashioned in the best sense, Lang possesses a great set of cornpone pipes, but the local establishment ignored this LP even though a platoon of the city's finest guest star on it. Blame Lang's peacocked pompadour -- rock fans fell for it and claimed her as their own.
