These Kisses are of the butterfly variety: innocuous yet sensual. The L.A. duo's chillwave aesthetic is right on trend, but they add a disco touch to keep the vibe a little more lively. Supple dance beats and flooding synths sound like the Pet Shop Boys if they had grown up in Southern California. Jesse Kivel's gentle croons go down as smooth as a crisp mai tai, especially when he sings something so sugary sweet as "Keep your heart strong and love long and give kisses when you can." It's enough to have you giggly and flirty and shimmying like a hula-hooper on the beach.
