Korn drops the good timey attitude they'd assumed for their fantastic Cameo cover, "Word Up," and return to the earnest caterwaul they are known for with this party down(er) of a single. Employing sinister NIN-type guitars and screamed questions at the chorus, "Evolution" wonders at the future of the world, as in whether or not there is one. The lead single from the band's eighth full length studio release, "Evolution" (as well as the album itself, titled Untitled) features ex-Missing Person's drummer Terry Bozio on the skins. He left the band shortly after recording was finished.
