On its third album, the Dutch trio Kraak and Smaak learns a few lessons from its successful live act -- which has played stages from Coachella to Glastonbury -- to turn in its most satisfying album yet. Beefing up the beats-and-breaks studio formula with electric bass, cracking percussion and inspired guest shots, they hone their songwriting to crank out potential hits ranging from futuristic funk to throwback soul. "Squeeze Me," featuring heartfelt falsetto from Ben Westbeech, models itself after Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy" in its aim for pop universalism -- and succeeds.
