BiographyKreidler combine choppy, industrialized instrumental grooves with a wide array of new and vintage electronic instruments. Round-sounding Moog notes bubble and burst around cerebro-capped live musicians, who -- if it weren't for the palpably unique musical results -- would certainly be sick of the tangle of wires accompanying them onstage and in the studio. This young Dusseldorf-based group has already recorded several solid albums, including the odd smattering of sounds on Appearance and The Park and the deconstructed remixes by Jim O'Rourke and others on the Resport EP. Kreidler seem to know just how to balance their sounds -- switching from an outer-space synth drone to a thick guitar and drum rhythm at just the right moment.
