There are a lot of cooks in the kitchen with Leona Lewis' debut LP, Spirit: Simon Cowell and Clive Davis are both signed on for executive production and song selection duties and OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder is responsible for some of the songwriting. The LP's first single (one of Tedder's) is all Leona though, featuring her big voice, which recalls '90s RnB queen Mariah Carey, and a beat that sounds borrowed from Timbaland's boom box.
