Les Jumeaux

Brothers Nigel and Klive Humberstone boast a history of overturning dance standards and reworking genre blueprints that span two decades. Cofounders of the ITN Corporation and masterminds of Sheffield-based act In The Nursery, these twins also record under the moniker Les Jumeaux. Tracks range from dark to darker, dabbling in a bit of electronic experimentation and plenty of stylistic boundary pushing. Disfigured up-tempo breaks falter through dingy atmospheres crowded with alarming synthlines, harsh acoustic instrumentation and thick layers of manipulated beats, breaks and basslines.
