Live in Texas is something of a misleading title. After all, the album isn’t a recording of a single performance, but rather tracks culled from several shows across the Lone Star State. Nevertheless, the audiences’ mouth-frothing mania is downright palpable, as Linkin Park tear through a set that consists of songs from the albums Meteora, Hybrid Theory and the remix package Reanimation. Spotlighting tracks from that last title might seem like an odd decision, but thanks to turntablist Joe Hahn (whose collaborative work with the band runs deep), they expertly translate them to the live setting.
