Little Barrie

With acoustic guitars, organic drumbeats and hook-crazy, semi-spoken vocals, Little Barrie invites the obvious comparisons to G. Love and Special Sauce. However, this London-based three-piece tends to move far closer to straight funk than their alternative rapping colleagues, incorporating heavy amounts of soul and a slight jam rock feel to the proceedings. Their debut was a self-titled EP on Artemis Records released in 2005. Their full-length, We Are Little Barrie followed later that year.
